Bible Caucus (Toronto Region)

Continued education for life-long learning

One definition of a caucus is “a group within an organization that meets to discuss strategy or tactics”. When it comes to the Bible, what is our strategy? What are the skills and resources we want to develop for studying scripture? How does our Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition guide us as we teach with, preach from, and learn about the Bible? What encourages us and gives us enthusiasm to lead Bible studies, or what are the barriers? The purpose of this event is to bring people together for an open conversation about the Bible, and to guide the planning of future Bible workshops in the ALW program. The Bible Caucus is open to everyone, including those who are unsure and those who are very sure about what studying the Bible should look like.
