Ministry is about coming alongside those to whom we minister in the messiness of life - messiness that takes us to deep and profound places. In this context, it can be challenging to define and set boundaries; yet, to do so is critical for healthy relationships.
This two-day workshop will support leaders who wish to establish healthy boundaries and a safe and respectful congregational cultue in the context of ministry, as they work to:
- Create a healthier church culture
- Increase awareness regarding harassment and boundary crossing
- Understand power dynamics and learn to set and maintain boundaris
- Define expectations regarding a respectful and healthy congregation relating to the anti-harassment bill, Bill 168
- Teach practical skills that empower both church leaders and congregants
Once completed, participants will have a greater understanding of the dynamics associated with healthy boundaries and will gain practical tools for creating a respectful and safe church setting.
