Ellen Kim hired as Administrative Assistant
MCEC is pleased to announce that Ellen Kim has been hired as Administrative Assistant.
“I have always wanted to work in a faith based setting to use the gifts God has given me to serve him,” says Ellen. “I pray that God will provide wisdom and understanding to serve His people and the churches to build His kingdom together.”
Ellen and her family recently returned to Ontario from South Korea. While in South Korea, Ellen worked as an English teacher and her husband, Kyong Jung, worked at the Korea Anabaptist Centre. “While in South Korea, I wanted to work with my husband and serve the church together but circumstances didn’t allow it. Now, I have the opportunity to serve the church and work for the kingdom of God. I am excited about joining MCEC to work side by side with brothers and sisters in Christ.”
Brent Charette, MCEC Operations and Church Engagement Minister says, “Ellen has been working for MCEC on a part time basis in recent weeks, and we have come to appreciate her. Now that she is with us full time we celebrate her many gifts. I invite the MCEC family to welcome her.”
Ellen, Kyong Jung, and their two daughters live in Kitchener, ON and attend First Mennonite Church.
