A search committee has begun their work.
The MCEC executive council is pleased to announce that a newly formed search committee has begun to seek a new permanent Executive Minister for MCEC.
“We are excited for how the Holy Spirit will lead through this process and how God will continue to call MCEC to be the Church that embodies Jesus in our communities. The Executive Minister is an important role for us doing this work together. We welcome your comments and voice, and we ask for your prayers," says Ben Cassels, MCEC moderator and co-chair of the search committee.
MCEC is 105 faith communities in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. It is a diverse community transformed by the love of God, inspired by the hope we find in Jesus and called to action by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The committee will carry out a search process and plans to announce an appointment by January 1, 2025. The committee includes the following persons.
