Growing Into The Future

This strategic plan is based on the Courageous Imagination process from 2022 and was endorsed by the Executive Council in November 2023. Executive Team has established key tasks for the coming year. In order to achieve these goals and tasks, we remain committed to honouring MCEC's purpose and identity.

MCEC is Growing into the Future firmly grounded and rooted in the transformative love of God; the inspirational hope we find in Jesus and a firm calling to action by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our strategic priorities - navigating change, developing leaders, intergenerational discipleship, embracing diversity and seeking peace and justice - grow from that life-giving trunk, alongside our goals.

We will ensure that our resources equip pastors and churches and are relevant to the changing nature of ministry and congregational life.

We will be mindful of, and purposefully contribute to intentional denominational growth.

We will make data-informed decisions from strong evidence to inform sustained growth.

And we will align operational resources with future needs to ensure that we are a sustainable organization.

We are excited and committed to grow into the future together as an MCEC community of faith.
