Kelbessa Muleta Demena is the Vice President of Meserete Kristos Church (MKC), an Anabaptist church in Ethiopia. He has been with MKC for over 35 years, and has served in a variety of roles, including as a local church pastor, regional office Board Member MK Seminary Board Chairman for 8 years, MKC Theological Commission Chairman And Mennonite World Conference (MWC) Mission Commission member for two consecutive terms. Currently, he works in capacity building for the MKC's pastors and church leaders in Ethiopia. He is a graduate of Addis Ababa Bible College, where he earned a BA in Bible and theology. He also holds an MDiv from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in 2010. He is married to Aster Mamo and has two grown children.
