Strengthening Connections Across the Church

Invite Micah Peters Unrau to Your Congregation

MCEC welcomes Micah Peters Unrau in his new position as Church Engagement Associate. Micah is booking now for speaking engagements starting in October. This brand-new role is designed to deepen relationships and strengthen our shared ministry across MCEC.

As Church Engagement Associate, Micah will visit congregations to gather and share stories of creative ministry, highlighting how God is at work in congregations throughout our regional church.

“We’re excited that Micah has begun. He brings fresh energy and vision to our congregational connections, and I believe he will be a great encouragement to churches,” says Anthony Siegrist, Executive Minister.

Micah’s commitment to listening and storytelling makes him a great fit for Christian education hours and speaking engagements. He is available to share stories on topics such as:

  • The presence of youth and young adults in the church
  • Pursuing right relationship with Indigenous communities
  • Attending to and caring for God’s creation

If your congregation is interested in learning how others are ministering creatively in these areas, contact Micah. He looks forward to building on these conversations and discovering additional areas of ministry with congregations.

“I hope to help nourish healthy, spiritually fruitful connections across our regional church family,” says Micah. “God is at work in so many congregations in such big ways―I can't wait to be part of sharing and celebrating these blessings together."

As a church family, our congregations can share in and learn from the many ways God is at work across MCEC. Join in this opportunity by connecting with Micah to book a visit: mpetersunrau@mcec.ca.
