Kendra Whitfield Ellis celebrates her ordination on International Women's Day

Kendra Whitfield Ellis celebrated her ordination on March 8 at Waterloo North Mennonite Church.

It was only fitting to be surrounded by strong leaders and women of faith as March 8 was also International Women’s Day.  

Ordination recognizes the important covenant of ministry.  Together with the regional church, the congregation has the privilege of affirming the minister’s gifts. They commend the minister to the entire church as one called to ongoing leadership ministry in the life and mission of the church.

Kendra currently is Minister of Pastoral Care and Youth Ministries at Waterloo North Mennonite Church.
