Reviewing and Creating Land and Territory Acknowledgments

In preparation for National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), many churches are reviewing or creating Land and Territory Acknowledgements.

MCEC's Truth and Reconciliation Working Group is convening an online workshop to think through the place of these statements in our worship services and support congregations developing and using their own Land Acknowledgements.

If you have one, bring an example of a land, territory, or treaty acknowledgement from your congregation or area.
