Sessions:
Nurturing an Everyday Mysticism – Anthony Siegrist
In our input sessions on Tuesday, Anthony will encourage us to nurture an everyday mysticism within our congregations. At a time when machines can mimic the human mind and when human hearts are starkly polarized, the Christian mystical tradition can play a vital role enlivening faith. Anthony will explore biblical and practical aspects of attending to God’s presence in ways that disrupt assumptions and deepen our experience of the world. Together we will reflect on how we might foster lively and profound experiences of God in our ministry contexts.
Embracing Belovedness: Spiritual Practices to Renew and Sustain Leaders - Marilyn Rudy-Froese
Spiritual practice is a key component of pastoral and personal health. We will reflect together on our belovedness as children of God and how prayer and spiritual practices shape our identity. We will engage in spiritual practices that help us embody, as well as rest, in God’s care and love.
Leading Across Cultures: Faithful Leadership in an Intercultural Church - Fanosie Legesse
In an increasingly multicultural world, pastoral leadership calls for more than theological insight—it requires cultural discernment, humility, and the ability to build genuine relationships across boundaries.
Drawing from Scripture and lived experience, Fanosie will guide us through an interactive journey into how culture shapes faith, communication, and our understanding of community. Together, we’ll examine how pastors can lead churches that honor the image of God in every culture while fostering unity in Christ.
