Nov 1st, 2025Healthy Boundaries Training November 1, 2025
This training is mandatory if you are an MCEC pastor/chaplain in active ministry, if you are active without charge, inactive with a license to marry or retired with a license to marry. There is a requirement that you take a healthy boundaries workshop every three years to keep your credential in good standing.
Reflect on your identity, role and responsibilities through the lens of professional boundaries. It is not a response to shortcomings or disciplinary issues, but rather a proactive space for thoughtful engagement and self-awareness. You may have been in ministry a long time, and others are in your first year as a pastor. There are always new experiences or situations to reflect upon.
Scheduling is always a challenge. We regret that, in moving the training to Mennonite Church Canada, the process of setting up a new system has shortened the timeline between this notice and the training dates. However, we trust that you will find a way to attend one of these training sessions. They are now two hours instead of a full day, and you have three opportunities to attend. The times are set to accommodate the time zones across MC Canada. We will work to send these dates out sooner in subsequent years.
Please register for one (1) of the following dates. This registration is for November 1.
- Wednesday, October 22, 7-9 pm
- Wednesday, October 29, 5-7 pm
- Saturday, November 1, 11 am – 1 pm
There is no fee for this training; it is included in your annual registration fee. French translation is available.
