Foundations of Peace: Youth Day Camp Toronto Chinese MC

This year, the Toronto Peace Academy (an initiative of Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church), in partnership with the Asia Pacific Peace Museum, is launching a one-week peace education program for high schoolers interested in learning about peace and conflict transformation.  

Foundations of Peace is for current and incoming high school students. Over five days, students will have opportunities to reflect on the meaning of peace, practice conflict resolution skills, and learn from local peacebuilders with international experience. 

Register by May 1, 2026!

Community Peace Summit: Toronto Chinese Mennonite Church

Join us for an afternoon of imagination and dialogue. Youth completing the Foundations of Peace program will present their work and community members will explore what peace means and how we can have more peace in our lives and in the world.

Healthy Boundaries Training October 20, 2026

Ministry is about coming alongside those to whom we minister in the messiness of life - messiness that takes us to deep and profound places. In this context, it can be challenging to define and set boundaries; yet, to do so is critical for healthy relationships.

This two hour online workshop is provided in three time slots. Times are set to accommodate the time zones across Canada. 

  • Tuesday, October 20, Time to be announced (held between 5-9 p.m.)
  • Thursday, October 22, Time to be announced (held between 5-9 p.m.)
  • Saturday, October 24, 11 am – 1 pm

MCEC Intercultural Competency Conversation
