A Renewed Vision for our Shared Ministry

MCEC is a family of 106 individual congregations spread across Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. Each community follows Jesus faithfully in its own local context, discerning together what it means to live as Jesus' disciples. Yet we are not alone. God calls us to be church - across places, languages, generations and theological perspectives - so that together we may participate in God's work in ways we could never do on our own.

Our shared ministry is a gift we carry together. As we enter a time of renewal, we are reminded that such work cannot be sustained by words alone. Without the faithful prayers of God's people, steadfast financial support from congregations and the willing service of those who offer their time and gifts, a renewed vision would be hollow. It would be nothing more than a new set of words.

We seek a Spirit-led way forward, shaped in prayer, grounded in Scripture and supported by the whole body.

Join us on this journey. Pray with us for discernment, unity and for the Spirit's leading. Pray that we may listen well, to God and to one another, and that together we may become the church God is calling us to be.
