Types of Membership in MCEC
MCEC offers multiple pathways for congregations to join in our shared mission. Whether planting a new ministry, exploring connection, entering provisional membership or becoming a full member, each step reflects a growing relationship rooted in discernment, community and mutual support.
Finance and HR
Our Financial and HR Resources provide congregations with the tools they need to manage remittances, staff payroll, benefits, and administrative responsibilities with confidence. We help churches build transparent systems, healthy teams, and effective ministry leadership. Through these supports, we care well for our people and empower them to serve faithfully. This section includes forms, guidance, and resources to strengthen congregational stewardship and personnel practices.
Safe Church and Accountability
We partner with congregations to build safe, welcoming environments for all, with special care for vulnerable individuals. Through policy development, training, and awareness, we help churches create cultures where safety is woven into every ministry. When misconduct occurs, we guide leaders in responding with integrity, accountability, and pastoral sensitivity.
Intercultural Church Resources
We support churches on their journey toward becoming truly intercultural communities rooted in hospitality, justice, and shared discipleship. These resources provide practical steps and learning opportunities to help congregations grow in cultural awareness and meaningful cross‑cultural connection.
Supporting Your Pastors
We support congregations in building strong pastor–congregation relationships through thoughtful evaluations, clear processes and shared discernment. We guide churches and pastors through MCEC credentialling, ordination requests and requirements for maintaining good standing. Resources for continuing education and sabbatical assistance help equip pastors for ongoing growth and well‑being. Our goal is to help ministry leaders thrive so they can serve faithfully and effectively.
