Mar 7th, 2026MCEC Intercultural Competency Conversation

Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop open to all who are curious about how intercultural understanding can deepen relationships and enhance ministry effectiveness.

Together, we will explore how our cultural identities shape the ways we see, communicate and connect. Through guided reflection, storytelling and group conversation, participants will gain tools and insights for building healthier, more authentic relationships across cultural differences. Rooted in MCEC’s calling to live out our identity as a diverse, inclusive and intercultural church body, this workshop encourages us to move beyond assumptions, listen deeply and honour the unique experiences each person brings.

At the heart of our time together is the foundational belief in the beloved‑ness of all people. As we learn to recognize and celebrate God’s image in one another, we strengthen our capacity to serve, lead and minister with humility, compassion and joy.

Join Fanosie Legesse, Intercultural Minister, and Cathrin van Sintern-Dick, Regional Minister, to learn, listen, and grow together as we journey toward becoming a more fully intercultural community of faith.
