Guided by David Boshart of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS), and the MCEC Congregational Ministries Team, the retreat will also offer meaningful opportunities to connect with colleagues, fostering mutual encouragement, honest conversation and the strengthening of relationships within the MCEC pastoral community. Whether through small-group discussions or informal conversations, participants are invited to share their stories, challenges and hopes.

This gathering is both formative and restorative—a time to listen deeply, reconnect with purpose and return to ministry renewed in spirit and vision.

David Boshart is President of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, bringing decades of pastoral leadership, denominational service and teaching experience across North America to his role. He holds a PhD in Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Missional Theology. He pastored for more than 25 years in congregations in Iowa and Virginia.
