Oct 17th, 2026Equipping Day for Quebec Congregations
Hope and Witness - Mennonite Churches in Quebec
Join pastors, congregational leaders and ministry volunteers from across Quebec for a day of learning, encouragement and conversation as we reflect on what it means to be a faithful Mennonite presence in Quebec today. Meet together with Jean-Christophe Jasmine, Quebec Director at Cardus Canada and Ordained Pastor, Jean-Claude Nkundwa, MCEC Regional Minister, and Anthony Siegrist, MCEC Executive Minister.
In a society shaped by secularism and rapid cultural change, how can our churches embody hope, bear witness to Christ and serve our communities faithfully? Through presentations, discussion and shared reflection, participants will explore the public nature of Christian faith, the realities of laïcité in Quebec, Anabaptist identity and leadership and our collective hopes for the future of Mennonite ministry in the province.
