CMU Discover Weekend – Do you live outside Winnipeg and want to learn more about CMU? Come to Discover Weekend on March 26-28. You’ll experience all the excitement of Discover Day, plus two nights in residence and an off-campus excursion to get to know Winnipeg. Visit cmu.ca/experience for more information and to register. Living Resistance – CMU faculty member Karen Ridd will lead a hands-on, non-lecture-based event where participants will learn to respond thoughtfully in moments of tension and risk through actively practicing nonviolent resistance techniques. 21st Annual Verna and Peter Janzen Music Competition – CMU’s annual showcase of music student performances takes place Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 PM at Laudamus Auditorium. The concert will feature competition finalists Emily Adams, Lauryn Edel, Jacob Kenny, Bella Rogers, and Larry Ruffin.
