We're Hiring: Regional Minister - Youth and Young Adults
MCEC seeks a Regional Minister who is passionate about helping congregations nurture the faith, gifts and leadership of youth and young adults. This role will equip and encourage ministry leaders, foster collaboration across congregations and support a shared vision of thriving Anabaptist communities where all generations serve together.
This is a .50 Full-Time Equivalent (20 hrs./week) position and is based in Kitchener, with some travel required. It is an initial limited-term contract, with the goal of a permanent appointment.
In this role you will:
- Equip and inspire leaders of congregational youth and young adult ministries
- Cultivate connections across the youth and young adult ministry ecosystem
- Encourage connections between young adults and the broader church
- Encourage collaborative relationships between youth ministry leaders across MCEC
We are looking for someone with:
- A heart for ministry and accompaniment
- Significant experience in youth and/or young adult ministry in multiple contexts
- A vision for cultivating congregational leadership that exhibits hope, vision and transformation
